Work with tags

Tags are key/value combinations that are applied to cloud assets on the vendor sites. CloudFlow supports one or more tags that are assigned to AWS EC2s, Azure VMs and Google Cloud VM Instances.

Filter risks associated with an application (tag)

On the Risks page, filtering based on tags can focus your risk analysis and remediation specifically on the risks identified by the selected tags.

In the example below, the CloudFlow customer used the tags filter to observe risk factors related exclusively to the eCommerce application. In CloudFlow, the combination of key 'App' and value 'eCommerce' were selected. All matching key/value (tag) definitions applied across the vendor platforms appear in the filtered results:

You can view tags associated with a risk’s affected assets.

To do this:

  1. On the Network Policy page, expand the required policy set and click on the risk severity level circle of a rule.

    The Rule Risks and Affected Assets window appears.

  2. Click on the Affected Assets tab.

    The affected assets are displayed including associated tags.

You can view any cloud platform asset to see its tags.

To do this:

  1. Go to Overview > Assets.

  2. Click the required asset name to display the Element Details window.

  3. Expand the Tags section.
